Who is eligible? G.R.O.W. Doula training is for those interested in becoming a certified community doula so they can provide doula services to expectant families in the communities where they live and/or work.

How to apply? Through a phased approach, we are offering the G.R.O.W. Doula training to residents in all 16 counties covered by our Central Healthy Start and Healthy Start of North Central Florida Coalitions. We were able to provide two training opportunities for Alachua and Marion counties during 2023 and we are currently accepting applications in our Central County area for the G.R.O.W. Doula training taking place April 19, 20 and 21  of 2024. If you live in Citrus, Hernando, Lake or Sumter County and are interested in becoming a certified G.R.O.W. Doula, please click on the box to the right to complete the scholarship application.

In June 2024, we will offer the northern rural county G.R.O.W. Doula training to residents of Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Putnam, Suwannee and Union counties. If you live in one of these counties, please check back at the end of March 2024 to complete the training scholarship application at that time.

We are excited to see so much interest in the G.R.O.W. Doula model!

Do you know someone who is interested in becoming a certified community Doula? If so, please share the flyer Become a Certified G.R.O.W. Doula (click the button on the right) and direct them to this website.
